Rosecrans, Zanesville, Maysville all move on to girls district soccer tournament
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Three Zanesville area girls soccer teams survived and advanced to the district tournament Thursday night
The the Lady Blue Devils of Zanesville opened tournament play with Cambridge and took down the Bobcats 10-1. ZHS will move on to play Maysville on Monday at a site to be determined.
The Blue Devils will be taking on Maysville because the Panthers beat Dover 1-0 at home to advance. Maysville scored a first half goal and then held on to take down the Crimson Tornadoes.
And Rosecrans had no problem with West Muskingum. They beat West M at home 14-0. Rosecrans has outscored their opponents 25-0 in the tournament so far. The top seeded Bishops move on to play Catholic Central on Wednesday at a site to be determined.
