Rotary Club Looking For Members

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-The Zanesville Rotary is looking to recruit new members to its group. 

The group had its weekly morning this afternoon at Bryan’s Place in downtown Zanesville. President Heather Dolen explains why she thinks joining the Rotary is beneficial. 

“Rotary is, we have 20 benefits as to why to join rotary. And I have two of my favorites: one is opportunity to serve others. Today we’re doing a foster bag program where we’re helping kids transition in their foster care. Service is what rotarians do.“

The Rotary is also a good place for people to socialize and network themselves. Becoming a Rotary member is a very simple process. 

“We like you to come as a guest to our meetings. We also like you to come to social and service projects to get to know rotary a bit. You fill out an application, there’s some dues and orientation and you just get right to work and help others. That’s really what we do.”

The Zanesville Rotary also works with local community centers and organizes Christmas fundraisers.
