Schubach Big Band Celebrated 10 Years

ZANESVILLE, OH- Schubach Big Band celebrated 10 years of music at Zane’s Landing Park on Sunday.

The concert was free to the public and featured vocalists Molly Beetem and Steve Spires. The 17-piece Band Leader David Schubach spoke about how important this event was to him.

“This is my home town and even though I was out west for twenty years I’m really happy to be back here and I’m happy that the town appreciates this. We do this as our gift to the town and we give it the love, were getting the love back, so you know it doesn’t get any better than that.”

Schubach also discussed about what his favorite part of the concert was.

“My favorite part is two things, getting prepared for because I love to write the music and just imagine what the horns and the saxophones and what everyone is going to sound like as I put the music together, and then tonight seeing it come to life.”     

The event happened at 7 pm in Zane’s landing Park.
