Scotties softball, baseball spoil Raiders Senior Day

MCCONNELSVILLE, Ohio — The Tri-Valley Scotties earned a pair of wins over Morgan on Monday evening, spoiling Senior Day for the Raiders baseball and softball teams.

The Scotties baseball team grabbed a 3-0 lead in the first earning, and added a fourth in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Dalton Crowley.

Tri-Valley also had a three-run 6th, and seven-run 7th en route to earning a 15-1 victory.

The softball team put up some lopsided numbers as well, taking a 9-0 lead into the 7th before adding four runs for a 13-0 victory of their own.

The Scotties baseball team opens up their tournament run a week from Monday against Columbus Mifflin at 5 p.m.

The softball team opens their post-season on Wednesday, May 9th, at 5 p.m.
