ZANESVILLE, Ohio — The Lady Generals guaranteed themselves at least a share of the MVL title with a 100-37 win over West Muskingum on Saturday afternoon.

Sheridan jumped out to an early 9-0 lead, and built a 29-6 lead after just eight minutes of play. The Lady Generals never looked back.

Reigning Player of the Week, Kendyl Mick, scored 17 of her 22 points in the first half, helping Sheridan to a 48-15 lead at the break. Rachel Cooke chipped in 20 points for the Lady Generals as well.

While Sheridan has completed their league schedule, they will have to wait to see how both Tri-Valley and Maysville finish their seasons to know whether they will share the title with one of those two schools. The Lady Dawgs face off against the Lady Panthers Saturday evening, with the loser being eliminated from title contention. Both will have one league-game remaining after Saturday, which they will need to win to claim a share of the title with Sheridan.

Sheridan opens their tournament run on February 15th at 8 p.m. when they take on Athens. West M will face off against MVL foe Morgan on the 21st at 7 p.m.
