Sheridan softball comes up short in district title game

ATHENS, Ohio – The Lady Generals scored four runs in the first two innings to take a 4-0 lead but came up short against Warren in the district title game at Ohio University.

Fifth seeded Warren shut out Sheridan from the third through the sixth inning and capitalized on several General errors to take a 8-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth. Sheridan scored once more in the top of the seventh but came up short falling 8-5. Warren moves on to regional semi-finals at Pickerington Central High School.

Sheridan finishes their season with a record of 21-5.
