Snow Emergencies Issued

Snow

The snow is starting to fall in Southeastern Ohio and we’re seeing very windy weather.

Those conditions have prompted several counties to issue snow emergency levels.

Under a level 2:

Perry

Coshocton

Muskingum

Guernsey

Morgan

A level two snow emergency means that roadways are hazardous with blowing or drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.

Under a level 3:

Licking

A level 3 means roadways are hazardous with blowing or drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Only emergency vehicles are allowed to be on the roadways.
