Starlight basketball team looking for state title

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Starlight Tigers won the Special Olympics state title in 2013 and are looking to win it again this year.
The Tigers will play in the semi-finals Friday in Bowling Green, Ohio. If they win against the Lucas County team they’ll advance to the state championship on Saturday. The co-ed team is made up of players from ages 19-52 and is hoping to bring a championship trophy back to Muskingum County.
The team will have a pep rally on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Starlight to cheer the team on as they leave for the game.
