Start time of OSU’s spring game up in the air
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The threat of severe weather has Ohio State wondering what time their annual spring game will happen, if it will at all.
Ohio State director of communications Jerry Emig took to Twitter and said the following.
“Ohio State officials are still monitoring the weather forecast for Saturday. We want to host this spring game for our fans, and we understand the importance of a timely decision. So a final decision on the status of the spring game will be made and announced Friday morning,” said Emig.
The game is scheduled to start Saturday at 1:45 p.m. A Buckeye lacrosse game that was scheduled to be played before the spring game has been moved to Friday.
Three Big Ten schools (Wisconsin, Michigan, and Northwestern) have already canceled their spring games.
