Muskingum University Defeats Franciscan University of Steubenville 7-1 in Baseball

In a day where high school sports were postponed due to inclement weather, the Muskingum University Muskies baseball team brought the heat on a chilly afternoon, defeating the Barons 7-1.

Jaxon Rinkes earned his third win of the season, only giving up one run in five innings while Chayce Lundell and Devin Ryan each had two hits and drove in a run apiece.

Up next, the Muskies will be on the road as they take on the Capital University Comets in a Wednesday doubleheader. First pitch for Game One is set to start at 1 p.m. while Game Two is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
