Three Car Accident On Maysville Pike

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle crash on US 22. It happened Thursday around 4:30 pm. 

Troopers say 34-year-old Cassandra Petit was on US 22 attempting to make a left turn onto Thompson Run Road.  The patrol says 51-year-old Jill Collins of Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, was stopped behind Petit.  Troopers say 23-year-old Kalee Parmer was westbound on US 22 and failed to maintain an assured clear distance striking the Collins vehicle. 

Investigators says Parmer’s vehicle also struck Petit’s vehicle.  Parmer was transported to Genesis Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Parmer was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance and distracted driving.
