Most Wanted Suspect
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is on the hunt for this week’s most wanted suspect 29-year-old Andrew May. May is wanted on six counts of possession of drugs and six counts of deception to obtain drugs.
Zanesville High School Robotics Team
ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Over the weekend the Zanesville High School Robotics Team competed in the state robotics competition and returned Sunday afternoon as Vex Robotic State Champions. On April 15th the Zanesville Robotics Team will be one of 13 teams from Ohio to head to Lousville, Kentucky to compete in the Vex Robotics World Championship.

CINCINNATI, OHIO (AP) – Ohioans can expect slippery road conditions to continue as temperatures drop into the single digits and wind chills fall well below zero in many parts of the state. The national weather service says wind chills could fall to 10 to 25 below zero.
Prison Population
CLEVELAND, OHIO (WHIZ) – Ohio’s prison population isn’t growing as rapidly as officials expected, though it still has thousands more inmates than its system was designed to accommodate. The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports Ohio had just under 50,600 prisoners in January, nearly 1,000 fewer inmates than expected last summer. State officials had estimated Ohio would have nearly 53,500 prisoners by 2019.
Birth Certificates for Adopted Ohioans
DAYTON, OHIO (AP) – Many adopted Ohioans will find it easier to get their birth certificates under a state law that will take effect next month. The Dayton Daily News reports the legislation will allow individuals adopted between January 1st, 1964, and September 18th, 1996, to request their adoption files from the Ohio Department of Health’s Bureau of Vital Statistics.
