Tri-Valley ends Sheridan’s winning streak, stays atop the MVL

DRESDEN, Ohio – The race for the Muskingum Valley League boys basketball title is coming down to the wire.
Coming into Saturday both Sheridan and John Glenn trailed Tri-Valley by just half a game for first place in the MVL. However, the Scotties were able to get some separation from the Generals with a 58-50 win at home.
The loss was the first since the new year for Sheridan and ended a 10 game winning streak.
Matt King paced the Scotties with 15 points. Sheridan’s Grant Heilman had a game high 21.
