Tri-Valley holds pep rally on eve of championship game

DRESDEN, Ohio – Not many communities support their football team like the village of Dresden does.

The Scottie held a pep rally for the football team this afternoon to cheer them on to their way to the DIII state title game. Fans gathered in the school gym to watch a video tribute to the team and hear a message from quarterback Andrew Newsom.

There will be a parade on Main Street in Dresden Saturday at 2 p.m. to cheer the team’s bus as they head to Canton. Fan will be able to purchase pre sale tickets tomorrow from 9 a.m. till noon on Saturday at the high school. Pre sale tickets are $11. Tickets cost $15 at the stadium.

Kickoff from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium is at 8 p.m.
