Tri-Valley softball beats Morgan; UA knocks TV baseball out of tourney

DRESDEN, Ohio – The Muskingum Valley League softball and baseball champions both opened up sectional tournament play Wednesday.

The baseball Scotties drew 19 seed Upper Arlington. The Golden Bears dominated TV all game long and run-ruled them 15-0.

The softball team had more luck with a much more familiar opponent. TV took on Morgan and won 11-0. With the win the Lady Scotties move on and will take on Maysville on Tuesday.
