Two Arrested in Burglary Case

Two people have been charged in a home burglary in Coshocton County.

32-year-old Samantha Morales and 35-year-old Ross Long, both from the Coshocton area are charged with burglary.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said the pair were arrested following a search warrant on a vehicle in Coshocton, where several stolen items were recovered.

Morales and Long’s charges come from a burglary on February 17 in the 14000 block of State Route 16. The pair fled prior to deputies arrival.

Later that day at the same location a homeowner confronted two adult male suspects. One male was shot and transported to Genesis Hospital. His condition is unknown.

The case remains under investigation.
