Two Indicted in Perry County

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office announced the indictments of two individuals on drug related charges.
23-year-old Alexis Stoneburner of Roseville was indicted on:
- 1 count aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine
- 2 counts aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine
- 1 count illegal manufacturing in methamphetamine
- 2 counts illegal manufacturing in methamphetamine with juvenile specifications
- 2 counts endangering children
The sheriff’s office said Stoneburner produced and sold methamphetamine in front of her 18 month old child to agents working with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force.
She’s being held in the Muskingum County Jail on unrelated drug trafficking charges.
The second individual indicted was 37-year-old Aaron Kyle Bernard of New Lexington.
He’s charged with:
- 1 count trafficking in heroin
- 1 count possession of heroin
- 1 count aggravated possession of methamphetamine
- 1 count tampering with evidence
The sheriff’s office said Bernard was arrested in October by agents with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force at his home at 706 Johnson Avenue, in New Lexington.
Task force agents said they received information that Bernard was transporting bulk quantities of heroin purchased in Columbus back to New Lexington to sell.
Bernard remains in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on felony drug trafficking charges.
