Umstott New Chamber Membership Service Specialist

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce has filled the Membership Services Specialist position.

Dana Matz, who originally held this position, is now the chamber’s new president. Matz is happy to introduce Ashley Umstott as the chamber’s new membership services specialist.

“We’re very excited to have hired Ashley Umstott, who went to high school here and college in Muskingum County. She’s been employed in Muskingum county all of her working life,” Matz said.

Umstott’s role is to recruit new members to the chamber and work with existing members. Umstott shared her thoughts on taking on this new role.

“I have volunteered with the chamber in past years and I really enjoyed the time I spent with them,” Umstott said. “This opportunity came available to join the chamber. And I saw this was a wonderful chance to work with the community that I grew up in and work with small businesses and help them grow within the community.”

Umstott said moving forward she envisions developing a strong relationship with not only the small business owners in Muskingum County but with the community members as well.
