United Way Application Training

Wednesday the United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan counties held a funding application training session at the John McIntire library.

Non-profit organizations who intend to apply for United Way funding attended the application training where they had the chance to learn about the application process and ask questions.

“We have an application process and that’s what we’re talking about today. Letting people know that’s what we’re trying to achieve and here’s what we’re looking for. So if you’re doing these things, and you want to advance these goals then we want to speak to you and we want to partner with you,” Said Executive Director for United Way of MPH, Meg Deedrick.

The United Way is looking to partner with non-profits in the areas of income, education, and health. According to Deedrick the application process is more transparent this year to ensure great partnerships.

“It is a little different because we’ve been working on the application process. We want it to be as transparent as possible and as clear as possible about what we’re asking for. So there have been some changes to the process but it’s pretty similar to the things we’ve done in the past,” said Deedrick.

Applications are due march 31st and if you have more questions about the application process you can contact the United Ways Community Impact Coordinator, Amy Davis, at (740) 454-6872.
