Water main break on Maple Avenue

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–Crews with the City of Zanesville Water Division are working to repair a water main break on Maple Avenue just north of Harding Road.

Customers without water service include the McDonald’s restaurant and the Maple Terrace High Rise apartments.

A manager at McDonald’s said they closed at 2:00 p.m. today and were told that it could be 6 to 7 hours before they will be able to reopen.

A boil advisory will be in effect for those customers impacted by the break.

Motorists should use caution when driving in that area.
