Water projects slated next week in Zanesville
ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The City of Zanesville Water Division will be completing water system improvement projects beginning Monday, June 29.
The projects will take place in the following areas:
- Pine Street and Merrick Avenue— new hydrant and valve installation
- 1700 block of Maysville Avenue—valve installation
Pine Street from Grove Avenue to Echo Avenue will be closed for several days for new hydrant installation and roadway repair afterward.
The 1700 block of Maysville Avenue will have one (1) lane closed in the south bound direction during the valve installation project. Lane closures and detours will be posted.
Some residents in the Pine Street and Merrick Avenue area may experience water service disruption and will receive individual notifications and further instructions.
These projects are part of an ongoing infrastructure improvement plan design to upgrade the water system and provide for future maintenance with limited customer interruptions.
