Wednesday Afternoon Farmers Market
ZANESVILLE, OH – If you’re looking for a place to get your mid-week produce, there is now a farmers market on Wednesday afternoons.
Several different vendors can be found on North Third Street between Market and Shinnick Street.
“Right now we have a vendor that supplies succulents, we have a few bakers, someone who supplies salsa, we have some pretty good fresh produce for this week. Turtle Dove and Wilson’s Family Farm, Curly Girl Farm and Bakers Farm, all supply some variety of produce.”
A special partnership is also taking place between the farmers market and three local restaurants.
“We have 3 restaurants downtown that we have a partnership with. The Old Market House Inn, VinAmi Zanesville, and Urban Comfort. They are, once a week during the Wednesday market, they come down and purchase from our vendors and they utilize those that produce or that product in a weekly showcase dish.”
The Wednesday Farmers Market will take place every Wednesday, 4 pm until 7 pm, June 10th through August 26th.
