West Muskingum Shuts Out Maysville

In girls soccer Thursday night, it was all Tornados on a clear, fall like evening. West Muskingum girls soccer defeated Maysville 6-1. The Tornados advance to 3-2 on the season, yet remain undefeated in MVL at 3-0.

West Muskingum scored the first three goals of the game within the first 10 minutes to take a 3-0 lead ,and lead by that score at halftime. Allison Latier, to open the second half stormed out with 30 yard goal from distance to make it 5-0. Latier would also the ensuing goal to make it 6-0. The Tornados will be back in action September 7, on the road at Lakewood in Hebron. Maysville will be back on the pitch September 9th at home against John Glenn.
