Philo Resident Faces Charges in December Accident

A Philo man appears in court to face charges connected to a December 2020 traffic accident on State Route 146.

Jamie Parr is being charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular assault and three OVI charges one involving methamphetamine and the other cocaine.

The 46-year-old plead not guilty to the charges and bond was continued by Judge Kelly Cottrill at $150,000.

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol said that on December 29, 2020 Parr was driving east on State Route 146 near Chandlersville, when the vehicle left the roadway and went into a deep ditch. The patrol said three people injured in the accident were transported to hospitals by MedFlight.
