Zanesville boys shut out Philo in opening tournament game

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The eighth seeded Blue Devils boys soccer team opened tournament play with a 5-0 win over twelfth seeded Philo at home Tuesday night.

ZHS jumped out to a comfortable 3-0 lead at halftime and added two more second half goals to get the shut out win. All five Blue Devil goals were scored by a different player.

Zanesville moves on to play third seeded Malvern this Saturday on the road at 4 p.m.
