"Today we’re working with the tow truck recovery units, the heavy wigs that you see here with us today. We get to learn what their capabilities are, when we get onto a heavy rescue scene say a semi over a hill like we just had this week with the local trucking company. We need to know that these guys when they bring there heavy rigs into that situation that they’re coming in with certified operators, certified equipment and they’re trained to keep us safe and keep themselves safe," said Doug Hobson
Asst. Chief- Zanesville Fire Department.

Organizers said the most important thing to do in an emergency situation is know how to properly communicate.

"That’s the most important and being able to get the call and like he said, when they call and they know we’re coming they know we can communicate and know what we can do and what we’re capable of," said Jerry Sode, Owner, A-One Towing.

"Part of our enhance training here with fire and the equipment we have is to teach our towers the importance of quick clearance," said Ron Myers, Operations Manage, Pine Tree Towing & Recovery.
