Genesis Hospital Volunteer Flower Sale Is Coming Up

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – April Showers brings May flowers, and that is the case at Paul’s Farm Market and Greenhouses.

Paul’s will be selling Genesis Hospital a variety of flowers for
Genesis’s Volunteer Flower Sale on May 8th and 9th. Paul’s Farm Market
employee, Marvin Paul said  they have been buying the flowers for the
event from Paul’s for at least ten years.

“Just try to get them a little bit of everything. That way people can
see what we have and take care of the needs of the people up there. We
see a lot of hanging plants, single potted plants, we will do some
single tomato plants, that we will send up too.” Paul continued on to
say “We will do ferns, probably by the time we get done, we are looking
at almost a thousand hanging baskets that will go up there in the two
day period.”

They sell the flowers to Genesis Hospital at a discounted rate and
then Genesis will re-sell them in order to raise money for their needs.
Marvin Paul said the money raised goes to needed improvements and
equipment at the hospital. Paul said while, obviously this benefits the
hospital, it definitely benefits Paul’s Farm Market as well.

“We get a lot of returns or phone calls from the people that
purchased from the hospital sale just to find out if we still have any
of these things available cause sometimes what happens when we send it
out there we happen to take what we have and don’t have it left to
sell,” added Paul.

The Genesis Volunteer Flower Sale, will take place at Genesis Hospital May 8th and the 9th.
