CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – The Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center hosted the 45th Annual Cambridge Glass Show and Sale Saturday afternoon.

At the event you could find all kinds of beautiful handmade glasses, vases, plates, and more. Cambridge Glass Show and Sale Co-Chairman, Rick Jones said this is a great opportunity for glass collectors, sellers, and even the public to see beautiful pieces and even make purchases.

Jones said, “Again, it is part of our education initiative. This is also an opportunity for collectors to find some of the rarest pieces of glass. So, like I said we bring collectors in from 44 states in the country. So, they come into Cambridge and bring dealers and it may be their only opportunity to find some of the items.”

Jones said the elegant glassware was made by the Cambridge Glass Company, and several other glass making companies.

“The number one is, it is beautiful. So, it is an appreciation tour to see some of this handmade glass made by the artisans here in Cambridge. So, today they have the opportunity to buy it and also our museum on South 9th Street is open today,” said Jones.

Jones said he is not sure how many pieces were in the show today, but he predicts between 20,000 and 30,000.
