Armed Robbery Investigation
The Newark Police Department is investigating a report of an armed robbery.
Officials said October 1, around 9PM a man entered the Creno’s Pizza on the 200 block of North Cedar Street, showed a gun and demanded money from an employee. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He was described as tall and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
An up to $1,000 reward is being offered in this case for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can contact the Licking County Crime Stoppers at (740) 349-6888.
