Mason Wins Race for Zanesville Mayor

It looks like Zanesville will have new Mayor. Republican Challenger Don Mason landed 2439 votes over incumbent Democrat Jeff Tilton who scored 1294 votes in the race for the city top post. The results are unofficial. Mason was hoping for a mandate from the voters so he could implement some changes he talked about during the campaign. Zanesville Mayor Jeff Tilton has not yet indicated what might be next for the multiple term mayor.
