Governor DeWine Recommends Primary be Moved to June 2nd

Governor Mike DeWine is recommending that in-person voting be delayed until summer. During a Monday news conference the Governor says he does not have the power to delay the primary election himself, but he will seek a lawsuit to make it happen. The new primary date would be June 2nd. DeWine says we should not force voters to make a choice between their health and their constitutional rights.
The Governor also announced that Fitness centers, gyms, recreation centers, indoor water parks, bowling alleys and movie theaters be closed at the end of today (Monday).
