Drive-by shooting in Ohio town leaves 5 injured

MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) — A drive-by shooting in an Ohio city left five people injured, police said.

The shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. Monday on Sturges Avenue.

According to police, the wounded were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries was not released and authorities have not released their names and ages.

Detectives were seeking a suspect.

“No additional suspect(s) or vehicle information is available at this time and the motive for the shooting is unknown,” police said.
