More Winter Weather on the Way
The Ohio Department of Transportation is once again preparing for winter weather expected in our area early Sunday morning.
Forecasters are predicting 1-3 inches of snow across the region. Around 150 ODOT crews will report or duty between 5AM-7AM Sunday throughout 17 counties in Central Ohio.
They’ll pre-treat the roadways in many areas, however drivers should still use caution as snow begins to fall.
They said because the cold temperatures will continue any precipitation will freeze on contact and the roads could become slick. ODOT advises to take it slow when traveling on the roadways. They’ll continue to monitor the forecast.
