Colony Square Mall To Host Touch A Truck

ZANESVILLE, Oh – Colony Square Mall is hosting a fun-filled Touch a Truck Community Day Saturday!
The event is a great opportunity for kids to learn more about first responders, military, and community support leaders in a fun, interactive way.
Kids will have the opportunity to explore and sit in police cars, military vehicles, ambulances and even fire trucks from around the community, including Zanesville and South Zanesville Fire Departments.
Colony Square Mall General Manager Jessica Brailer says they are excited to host this and other events.
“We’re definitely a community center. We love being part of the Zanesville community and are glad to offer this event for local families and folks to come out and enjoy the day at Colony Square Mall,” she said.
The free event also includes complimentary face painting, special back to school sales and specials from shops in the mall, a selfie station, snowcones and much more!
Brailer says none of this would be possible without the city of Zanesville and the support of the community.
“This is all about community support. We’re thankful to have the City of Zanesville providing over a dozen pieces of equipment, Muskingum County Sheriff, all of the area fire departments, Zanesville City Police Department and more area organizations including the armed forces that are located in the mall, the marines and the army,” Brailer said.
Touch A Truck will be Saturday from 11 AM until 3 PM in the Colony Square Mall front parking lot and all are welcome to join the fun!
