Good Neighbor Day Clean-Up & Beautification Saturday

ZANESVILLE, Oh – Visit Zanesville, City of Zanesville, and Noon Rotary have partnered up to host another Good Neighbor Day!
The clean-up and beautification project will focus on areas around Linden, Lee, and Keen Streets from the underpass to Terry’s Tavern.
Volunteers will be doing anything from weed-eating and grass-mowing to litter pick-up and spraying for weeds and are encouraged to bring their own equipment if possible!
Chamber of Commerce Vice President Kelly Ashby says the focus is on high traffic areas and doing their part to keep Zanesville beautiful!
“We try to hit the high traffic areas in a community and so of course we are all traveling Linden Avenue these days. So that is a great area to focus on and we are thrilled to be doing this as a part of Noon Rotary and service projects that we offer to our community,” Ashby explained.
This is the fourth Good Neighbor Day of the year and is the perfect opportunity for students or anyone in need of volunteer hours and anyone and everyone is welcome to come out and help!
“We will put you to work. It’s a wonderful feel good project and a way to do beautification projects for the city of Zanesville and Muskingum County,” she said.
Ashby says they’re thankful to all their partners, especially Advanced Heating and Cooling for allowing them to start at that location.
Anyone wanting to volunteer can meet in the Advanced Heating and Cooling parking lot, located at 435 Linden Ave, tomorrow from 9 AM through 12 PM.
