Ables Inc. Launches 8th Annual ‘Heat for Our Heroes’ Furnace Giveaway

ZANESVILLE, OH – A local company is warming hearts once again this fall. Ables Inc. is bringing back their annual Heat for Our Heroes furnace giveaway, honoring our local veterans for the 8th year in a row.

The Zanesville-based heating and cooling company has opened nominations for their popular gas furnace giveaway. The community is encouraged to nominate active-duty military members, veterans, or surviving spouses who live in Muskingum, Guernsey, Perry, Morgan, Licking, Coshocton or Noble Counties.

“This is a way to give back to somebody who’s sacrificed so much for our country. It’s just a tiny token of what they’ve done for us. We thought it was a good way to get involved with what we do for something that they’ve done for us,” HVC Division Manager Jeremy Ables said.

The nomination deadline is October 21st, and the winners will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11th. It’s a wonderful way to support local heroes and keep their homes warm for the winter ahead.

“It’s a good feeling. Especially since the last couple years, we’ve been able to do two winners a year. Then there’s been times we’ve helped with multiple repairs or things like that. It’s a good feeling,” Ables said.
