Heartbeats Launches 2024 Grateful Hearts Campaign
ZANESVILLE, OH – A local organization is getting ready to host their annual Giving Tuesday Campaign.
Heartbeats staff are busy at work, getting ready for their 2024 Grateful Hearts Campaign.
Linda Dady, the Zanesville Branch Director for Heartbeats, said this campaign allows families in the community to honor a loved one through a donation of either $25, $50 or $100.
She said your donation will go towards a hand painted, glass ornament that will be placed in either the Zanesville or Newark offices.
“Giving Tuesday is kind of a global effort where you’ve got your Black Friday or Cyber Monday where you’re out buying, buying, buying,” Dady explained. “So Giving Tuesday came about right after Cyber Monday to kind of have people slow down, it’s a time of thanksgiving, it’s always the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, so we can really cherish those around us and be grateful for what we have.”
Dady said her and her staff have been busy at work painting the ornaments for Giving Tuesday. She said the best part of this event is that families are invited to come and place their ornaments on the tree in honor of their loved one.
“Tell us the story about your person that you’re honoring and hang that ornament yourself, so we would really love it if people did that this year,“ Dady said. “We feel like every ornament is representative of a life cherished, life is precious.”
There are three different ways to take part in this campaign.
The first way is to call into either the Zanesville Heartbeats office, 740-450-5437, or the Newark office, 740-349-7558.
The second way is by heading online to hbfl.us, just make sure to put the name of the person you are honoring.
The third way is by stopping into the Zanesville or Newark Heartbeats Centers on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
