Multiple Methamphetamine Busts in Perry County

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office made another methamphetamine bust this past week.

On Friday March 20, Perry County Sheriff’s deputies and Agents with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force attempted to locate 35-year-old Ginger Keith-Tittle who was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants for illegal manufacturing of drugs, illegal possession of drugs and the illegal assembly or production of chemicals to produce drugs. When officials arrived at 3620 Irish Road in Corning, Keith fled through the back door of the home but was apprehended quickly.

Inside the home, deputies discovered methamphetamine lab production equipment with drugs production ongoing. This is the third time meth lab materials have been discovered at this address. The previous two incidents were in March and June of last year. Keith has been incarcerated on the outstanding warrants for the 2014 busts, and she faces additional charges for materials found Friday.

On March 3, Perry County Sheriff’s Deputy, Brandon Forester was patrolling North Buckeye Street. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Forester detected a strong chemical smell consistent with odors created during methamphetamine production. Deputy David Briggs responded as backup, and the two deputies discovered an active meth lab inside a bedroom at 10 North Buckeye Street in Crooksville.

The Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force were called in for the investigation, which led to the arrest and release, pending follow-up investigation, of two individuals. The raid is the second methamphetamine related investigation at this address. The first occurred in August of last year.
