Zanesville student Breleigh Curtis signs contract for upcoming TV series

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Earlier this year, we got a behind-the-scenes look at Zanesville’s own Breleigh Curtis, better known as Breleigh Rael, chasing her dreams.
Curtis, a student in the Zanesville City School District, is officially on the road to stardom. Just before Thanksgiving, the young performer was offered a two-year contract and signed it in front of friends, family, and supporters.
“I am going to be in a variety series on TV… I’m so excited and I just signed my 2-year contract… this contract it involves singing, acting, dancing, improv so just a lot of getting to do what I love,” she said.
Filming for the project began December 9 in Columbus. Curtis and her family will travel there about four days a week during production. And while she cannot share many details about the series just yet, she says balancing school with her new schedule won’t be an issue.
“I did online during COVID so [I’d probably go] online again, obviously I’ll get to talk to all my friends, so I’m not that worried about it… I do have to give a special shout out to Zanesville City Schools and our superintendent Laura, she’s amazing. She’s behind me and supporting me and she said whatever I need we will get it all worked out.”
Curtis also released a new holiday single, Santa’s Helper, on Christmas morning. You can support Breleigh Rael on all major music streaming platforms, and soon, on your TV screen.
