The Barn is ready for March Madness and more

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Break out your brackets and bring your appetite because The Barn in Zanesville has everything you need for this year’s March Madness.
The bar and grill located at 1947 Linden Avenue has 21 screens throughout the restaurant to make sure you don’t miss a moment. The Barn has deals on a variety of food and drinks and even a Beat the Owner Bracket Competition that you can sign up for through their Facebook page.
“I think for us it is all about the community and just seeing everybody come in and having a great time, being able to do great things for the community,” said Jim Watson, the owner of The Barn. “You know, we live in a great place and you know we have a lot of different people that’s very diverse in terms of what teams they’re rooting for and it’s just great to see everybody get together and have the enjoyment of watching those games. And you know, kind of arguing back and forth over who’s going to win and then really seeing the outcome at the end of the game.”
March Madness is typically all about basketball at the college level. However, with Maysville and West Muskingum High Schools both playing in the state quarter-finals, The Barn is making sure the community can watch them play.
“It’s going to be exciting to see those games. We’ll have them streaming right back here on the big video wall. So, you can come down and catch those games down here as well and go Maysville, go Tornadoes and go Panthers. I’m excited for both those teams, they’re really fun to watch,” Watson said.
You can sign up for the Beat the Owner Bracket Challenge for a chance to win prizes by visiting The Barn’s Facebook Page. You can also listen to the Maysville and West Muskingum games live on our FM radio station at Z92.7.
