ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Santana Ivey’s memorial outside the Muskingum County Courthouse was held to remember her being gone for 10 years this month.

Ten years ago Ivey went missing, and she was found dead a few months later. To this point, the case has not been solved. Ivey’s mother, Doty Samson said finding her daughters killer would mean everything to her.

“I’d be the happiest girl in the world,” said Samson. “I want justice, and I want them to suffer just like I have been for ten years.

Private investigator Lilly Paisley came onto the case about two years ago. She said since she has started working on the case there has been progress.

I personally as a private investigator just started doing some interviewing, researching, and just trying to draw some conclusions and facts, said Paisley.

“We’re still a ways off but, we’re gaining ground, and I’m very optimistic that we’ll come to a conclusion.”

Samson said she wants to thank everyone who has supported her and helped her get to this point and she hopes her daughter’s killer will be brought to justice.
