Chandlersville Homecoming Happening August 7th-9th

CHANDLERSVILLE, OH – The 2026 Chandlersville Homecoming is right around the corner!

The fun kicks off on Friday, August 7th with the Opening Ceremony taking place at 6PM, live music at 7, as well as a chinese auction, 50/50, and gun raffle taking place between the main events.

The Homecoming continues into Saturday the 8th with the Garden Tractor pulls at noon, bingo at 2, the highly anticipated parade at 5, a chicken dinner and more live music.

Sam Starrett, the President of the Chandlersville Community Building, says the Homecoming has been happening for many years now, but it didn’t originally start out as a Homecoming.

“How it started was, a group of Alumni got together, graduates of the school and just had a class reunion.” Starrett said. “Then it kind of blossomed into becoming the Homecoming and what it is today. This is what we now have as an annual event we do every year, have the Homecoming.”

Starrett says the fun will wrap up on Sunday with a Church service at 10:30AM, a baked steak dinner at 11:30, and an ATV Tour ride at 12:30.

He says it’s great to see people come back year after year, making new memories with their family and building on the legacy of Chandlersville.

“It’s a great thing, it’s a part of American culture to say the least.” Starrett said. “Small town communities, small town USA, to touch on that. To see that and be a part of it and to help it continue and keep it going forward and growing, in some way, shape and form. That’s important to our culture, our heritage, our way of life. It’s something that we don’t want to see erased or let it be lost.”

The Chandlersville Homecoming will be taking place at the Chandlersville Community Building, located at 8775 Chandlersville Rd.
