Midtown Market Set to Open in Downtown Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, OH – Downtown Cambridge is about to have a new destination for food, games, and family fun. After years of work, Midtown Market is finally getting ready to welcome its first customers.
Inside midtown Market, an old downtown space has been given a whole new life, with arcade games, colorful murals, places to eat, and even space to get some work done.
“We decided to take this 30,000 square foot building here in historic downtown Cambridge and try to convert something that is for the community, for family. We have several food vending options. We have a full-service bar. We have duckpin bowling, six lanes, some with artificial intelligence. We have birthday party rental rooms. On the top floor, we offer two conference rooms as well as nine offices that are available for rent.” Midtown Market Owner, Justin Brown said.
You can come here to work, but staying to play might be a little more tempting. The idea is to create more than just another place to eat. It’s somewhere to stay awhile, grab some food, challenge someone to a game, bowl a few rounds or try your luck at the arcade.
“We really wanted to bring a place where families could come and everyone could enjoy a different meal, take advantage of our arcade, and have a safe place to hang out with friends and socialize. Really, we wanted a family entertainment center where families could come and enjoy it.” Midtown Market Owner, Aaron Neff said.
And there’s plenty to choose from when it comes to food, too. From healthy options to comfort food, Midtown Market is bringing a little bit of everything to the table.
“We’re going to offer a mix of every different kind of food. We’ll have Bowled, which is like your healthy option, you acai bowls and whatnot. We’ll have a taste of Greece… we’ll have the Chop Box, which is going to be your hibachi and sushi.” Brown said.
That’s only part of the menu, with Tex-Mex, pizza and subs, and plenty of other options throughout the building.
“We’d love to honestly just provide a safe, fun, family, atmosphere where everyone can feel involved, everyone can have fun, and just something for downtown Cambridge to continue to thrive.” Brown said.
The wait won’t be much longer. Midtown Market officially opens to the public Tuesday, September 8th.
Midtown Market is located at 102 Wheeling Avenue in Cambridge. For the latest updates and more information ahead of opening day, you can visit Midtown Market’s Facebook page.
