Crooksville sophomore runs her to way state cross-country meet

CROOKSVILLE, Ohio — Crooksville sophomore cross-country runner Savannah Moorehead finished in 15th place in the Division-III Regional meet at Pickerington North and is headed to the state tournament.
Savannah is the first girl from Crooksville to ever qualify for the state tournament. She set a personal best in the 5k with a finishing time of 20:17:16– just 10 seconds shy of setting the school cross-country record.
Savannah will run next Saturday at 11 a.m. at National Trails Raceway in the OHSAA Division-III state cross-country meet. Congratulations and good luck to Savannah.
