Nora V. Daniel: ZAAP’s Artist of the Month
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – November’s First Friday ArtWalk in downtown Zanesville is this week and Nora V. Daniel will be featured as the ZAAP Gallery Artist of the Month.
Daniel’s art can be found at 625 Main Street during the art walk from 5 to 8 p.m. Her paintings line the western wall of the gallery and are available for purchase or monthly rental. Daniel is a member of the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project, or ZAAP, and tells us about her artistic style.
“I would say it is impressionistic, observational, representational, and a little expressionistic,” Daniel said.
You can see more of her art and contact her through her Instagram page at Nora-V-Daniel. During your visit to the art gallery, Daniel will be offering a unique experience while you’re taking in the local art scene.
“I’m very excited about doing ink portraits of people, of pets, even of favorite objects people would like to bring in. And I am going to do ink drawings of them,” Daniel said.
The First Friday ArtWalk is from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Zanesville. According to Artist Colony of Zanesville’s Facebook page, South East Area Transit will be offering free shuttle services during the next 6 First Friday ArtWalks.
