Random Acts of Kindness
It can be as simple as opening a door for someone or giving someone extra change to get something out of the vending machine. Yet, it’s an act that can really impact someone’s life, and people are recognizing these acts worldwide.
Zanesville resident Crystal Stillion says it really helped when her pastor came over to help her family shovel out their driveway.
Pleasant City resident Melissa Lappert says an act of kindness is really helpful, especially when you have two young boys.
"This day and age, it’s hard to find people that show that they care about each other. It’s just always nice having him in the store and having people hold the door open. One day, I had someone help me get his hat on when he was asleep or someone put my groceries up for me, " says Lappert.
"It’s like the Domino Effect. One person does something for somebody, and it keeps going, " says Gratiot resident Anthony Hott.
It may be the final day of the "Random Acts of Kindness Week," but the idea is to keep them going year-round.
