Longaberger Company Likely to Shut Down

There are multiple reports Friday night that the Longaberger Company has shut down.  Longaberger’s parent company, JRJR Networks, has not made any statements or responded to questions about the status of the operation. Whiz News reached out to Longaberger spokesman Brenton Baker and are awaiting a response. The Longaberger Company, at its peak, was a one billion dollar company back in the year 2000 and had over 8000 employees.  It was purchased by JRJR in 2013.   It most recently had relocated to the Village of Dresden in Muskingum County.
