Christ’s Table serves Thanksgiving

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Christ’s Table was also serving meals for the holiday.
Executive Director Keely Warden said they had volunteers out delivering meals and working in the kitchen to make the meal possible. One volunteer, Rock Zemba said he has been volunteering at Christ’s Table with his family every year since he was six years old.
“Well because I just love giving back to the people,” said Zemba. “My family comes here every year, we have fun, just really fun to do it. I get to bond with my brothers more and we don’t fight as much, its really fun.”
Warden said they served well over 100 meals today thanks to all of the community donations and volunteers. She said it was great working with all the volunteers today and realizing just how much there is to be thankful for.
“Really realize we do have a lot to be thankful for and we just want people to know that Thanksgiving is an action word, don’t use it as a noun,” said Warden. “We want you to go out there and make something happen every day.”
