Cambridge Man Charged With Murder

Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Padden says charges have been filed in the shooting death of a Cambridge woman this week. Padden says that 36-year-old Daniel Wine of Cambridge is charged with one count of aggravated murder with a gun specification in the death of Amy Wilson. It happened Tuesday evening at a Madison Avenue home on Cambridge’s south side. Chief Randy Lepage says police received a 9-1-1 call from Wilson where she says a male was in her house with a gun and was going to shoot her. Wilson was able to identify the male during the call. When officers arrived they found her dead of a gunshot wound. Police speculate the shooting is the result of a domestic dispute. Wine is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing on Friday in Cambridge Municipal Court.
