Boil Advisory for Parts of Downtown Zanesville

The City of Zanesville Water Division has issued a precautionary boil alert for customers from 3rd to 6th Streets and between Main and Market Streets in downtown Zanesville.

Officials said that customers should boil the water for at least one minute and let it cool before drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food until further notice.

The Water Department said samples will be collected once the work is completed and service is restored.

The boil alert was issued after an emergency water main repair by the Zanesville Water Division.
